This film, about drug dealer Frank Lucas, stars Denzel Washington as Lucas, and Russell Crowe, as Richie Roberts, the
detective who brought him in--and turned him around, has been on location in New York City.

LPR happened to drive past, last Friday, as workers turned Lenox Avenue and 122nd Street into 8th Avenue and 116th Street.

(This location, scheduled for filming October 2 and 3, is just two blocks up from the church where Venezuela President Hugo Chavez spoke, two weeks ago.)
