Anybody else, anybody?

MAY 16, 2007 --

Anybody else think the economy is heading for a downturn if people maintain weekly driving habits and cut back spending on other things?

Anybody else have a bit of difficulty telling apart the voices of Lou Dobbs and Charles McCord?

Anybody else doubt reporters will press congressional leaders why the standing of Congress, indicated by public opinion polls, is about as low as the president's poll figures?

Anybody else who never heard of the U.S. Energy Information Administration or its head, Guy Caruso, and wonders why this
outfit doesn't follow the gas price hike money and tell us where it goes?

(A news story on Yahoo, May 15, has Caruso saying prices won't drop for a few weeks more. Sure, when they get so high that motorists stop driving. LPR predicts any decline will not reach the starting point of this latest spike into the national
interest.)

Anybody else believe it is time to apply the counsel of Federalist 57 and stand up to the "ambitious sacrifice of the many to the aggrandizement of the few" -- that is to say the people who are at economic war against the USA while we wage war against holy war (formerly the war against terrorism)?
