The Attorney General is Unconcerned

June 19, 2019 --

Attorney General William Barr indicated to Jan Crawford of CBS News, May 31, that he is unconcerned about the sudden criticism on his resistance to congressional subpoenas. Mr. Barr attributed the criticism to the "hyper-partisan atmosphere" over Washington at this time.

He did make it clear to Ms. Crawford that he will get to the bottom of Russiagate.

This goal is likely to enrage to Trump-haters even more. Yet, it should be clear that the attorney general is defending the principle of separation of powers, and is not serving as personal attorney to the president as his critics falsely charge. LPR wonders if House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is holding off her radical members, pressing for impeachment now, for fear that the Barr probe will embarrass Democrats, generally, and Hillary Clinton and President Obama, in particular, along with former high-ranking members of the intelligence community.
