November 8, 2022:
Augury for  the GOP

April 19, 2022 --

The midterm elections, will be held this year on Election Day, November 8, little more than six months' away.

(LPR refers to "Election Day" allowing for the misguided change from election day to election days, a change that must be ended in the name of election integrity.)

On November 8, 1994, the date of the midterm elections that year, Republicans gained 54 House seats and 8 Senate seats to win majorities in the two Houses of Congress.

The GOP majority in the House was the first such Republican victory in 40 years. (May this result repeat itself this year.)

On November 8, 2016, Donald J. Trump defeated Hillary R. Clinton to become the 45th president of the United States (following which the antidemocratic left began their years'-long unsuccessful campaign to overturn the results of the 2016  election).
