LPR checked on the Hecksher softball fields May 29, and found that reconstruction was underway.

(LPR thanks the young women from
UK's Midlands for giving Shana some water, as we headed out of Central Park; then, while still in the park, meeting a couple from London.)

LPR was at the Great Lawn for some of the June 1 games. One of the accompanying photos shows a player
from Rent who seems about to slide into a tag by the Lion King third baseman.

Lion King won the game. The towers in another photo are on Central Park West. (The player is not solitary; the rest of the team is beyond this view of the Great Lawn.)
