Nederlander beat Actors Equity Association, 7 - 5, August 24, to win the organizational championship.

The Producers beat Beauty and the Beast, 6 - 4, to advance to the show final.

Last year, Beauty defeated The Producers for the show championship.

The Producers will meet Atlantic Theatre Co., August 31. Atlantic got two runs with two out and no one on to beat Rent 8-7, last Thursday.

Shortstop Reid Warner reached first base on a Rent infield error. Paul Urcioli then hit a home run blast blast to right field in the bottom of the ninth (second extra inning) after Rent scored a run, the top of the inning to break a 6-6 tie.
