AUGUST 21, 2005 --

The 2005 season is winding down. The championship game will be played at the Heckscher softball fields in Central Park on August 25, between the winner of the "All Shook Up" - "Producers" game and "Beauty and the Beast.

The first game will be played at 12.30 p.m. "Beauty and the Beast" then plays the winner at 2:30 p.m.

"The Producers" stayed alive, last Thursday, by defeating Playwrights Horizons, 9-6, and then defeating "Beauty and the Beast."

After the first game, LPR got a photo of winning pitcher Rocco Landesman, but then noticed, on getting the print, that Playwrights terrific shortstop Mike Raphael was at the left of the photo (and to Landesman's left).

Soon, LPR realized that Raphael was walking purposefully straight from his team's tough loss to say hello to Shana.

Good luck Mike, for your new baby and family, and for the 2006 season.

Winning pitcher Rocco Landesman from "The Producers" is congratulated, while shortstop Michael Raphael is shown on the left.
