BSL Champs …

Theatergoers attending The Producers will see a sign at the entrance to the St. James Theater, proclaiming The Producers champions of the Broadway Show League in 2001 and 2002, as well as 2004.

Let it be noted that as team Producers took a commanding lead against Beauty and the Beast for the BSL championship, Rocco Landesman, Producers' pitcher could be heard to say, along the third base sideline: "This is who we are; this is what we do."

Who will be justified in making a similar statement after the American League Championship Series: a Red Sox player, or a Yankee? Or would the speaker be
better advised to await the World Series outcome?
