APRIL 24,
2007 --
Last
Thursday, at 4 p.m., Lizabeth Zindel ("Girl of the Moment")
and, 7 p.m., Robin Roberts ("From the Heart"), talked about
their books at the Lincoln Square Barnes & Noble bookstore (66th
Street and
Broadway).
LPR got there too late to hear the authors, but, as the accompanying photos
indicate, in time for a de facto photo op.
The photos of Ms. Zindel include an image of the escalator to the second floor
where, turn right on arriving, her book is on display.
And yes, Ms. Zindel is the talented daughter of the late Paul Zindel,
winner of the 1971 Pulitzer Prize for Drama (The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon
Marigolds).
