Biden to Address Congress April 28.
How Should Republicans Respond?

April 19, 2021 --

The starting point for considering the GOP response to Biden's forthcoming initial appearance as president before Congress is, LPR believes, to recall how Democrats rushed to insult President Trump when he appeared before a joint  session of Congress.  Consider this account, last year, copied and pasted from The Hill:

"At least 10 House Democrats are boycotting President Trump's State of the Union address on Tuesday night on the eve of the expected Senate vote to acquit him in his impeachment trial.

Most of the 10 Democrats — Reps. Al Green (Texas), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.), Ayanna Pressley (Mass.),
Maxine Waters (Calif.), Bennie Thompson (Miss.), Bobby Rush (Ill.),
Steve Cohen (Tenn.), Earl Blumenauer (Ore.), Hank Johnson (Ga.) and Frederica Wilson (Fla.) — have also opted against attending Trump's past annual addresses to Congress in recent years as an expression of protest against his presidency.

Ocasio-Cortez and Pressley, who have been targets of Trump over the last year, both announced Tuesday that they will not be in the House chamber for the address."

LPR would have no difficulty if ten times ten Republicans announced they will not attend the Biden speech, April 28, to protest his decision to direct government policy by divisive disdain for duly-elected Republican members of House and Senate.

It is to be expected that Biden will not resist the opportunity to express additional disdain for Republicans (other than those few who are actually pretend Republicans).

Accordingly, at the first drop of an insult hurled at Republicans, all self-respecting members of the GOP should attending the Biden speech should rise up, en masse, and leave the House chamber - that is, if Speaker Pelosi does not take the precaution to prevent a Republican walkout by stationing Army troops at the entrance to the House chamber, blocking a walkout.

These are times without parallel in the history of this country.  Aided by the radicalized media, academia and Big Business, the radical party regards the party of the people as te enemy, to be destroyed thoroughly, as Obama functionary David Plouffe stated in a tweet, June 2016.  The Democrats have become  the party of lies, manipulation, and tyranny.   Not only do the Democrats wage vicious political warfare against the GOP; they also seek to raze the Constitution of the United States.  Why else do they call for statehood for the District of Columbia? Why else do they demand an end to the Electoral College and the filibuster?  Why else would they impose election procedures that would make a mockery of the secret ballot, cast by legitimate voters?

Biden and his ilk are intent on sowing chaos to undo more than 230 years of constitutional liberty. The issue has gone from making America great again to keeping America the land of liberty.

All that tyranny needs to succeed in our. country is for Republicans to remain passive at best, deferential to the radicals, at worst.

Republicans, show the American people that you stand with them for liberty by your response to Biden's truth-trampling appearance before Congress on April 28th.
