Concerning Mayor Bill deBlasio

September 5, 2019 --

The New York City mayor was given a Town Hall program on CNN, notwithstanding the lack of support for his presidential quest.

Among other things, he urged the return of a tax at the rate of 70 percent for the wealthy, regarding as their fair share.

LPR recalls the time when Mr. deBlasio, then a middle-level manager, stonewalled a request for information on the property tax manipulation at the Dayton Seaside buildings in Rockaway Park, Queens.

This manipulation, as noted previously at LPR, was the result of the swamp's work in New York City to send the buildings into backruptcy and put new owners at the site. And that is what happened. LPR is convinced a blow on the invidious operation of the swamp would be made were the president to ask HUD Secretary Ben Carson to review the Dayton Seaside file and issue a report how HUD worked with New York City to manipulate the Dayton-Seaside apartment buildings into bankrutpcy to get preferred new owners.

LPR believes Mr. deBlasio could shed light on the matter -- once he ends his presidential quest.
