MAY 28, 2004 --

Shuler Hensley, presently appearing in the movie "Van Helsing," and soon to be seen in "The Jury," joined the Boy from Oz team, May 27, in their game against Atlantic Theatre Company. He hit two tremendous home runs, in the Oz loss. Two years ago, Shuler and Patrick Wilson were a formidable duo on the "Oklahoma!" squad and he joined Wilson again today, playing centerfield to Wilson's left field.

The two actors appeared on the "Oklahoma!" stage two years ago, Wilson in the part of Curley and Hensley in the part of Judd, a part that got him a Tony. (The Tonys, this year will be held June 6 and LPR plans to view outside the event.)

Before appearing in "Oklahoma!" on Broadway, Shuler played Judd in the London production with Hugh Jackman as Curley. Jackman is presently starring in The Boy from Oz, and plays the title role in Van Helsing.

Shuler told LPR that he and his wife had their second child (their first boy) 14 days ago. His next film is called "Cheer the Brave," and he will produce the film, written by his brother.
