Nederlander and Shubert, weather permitting, will contest the organizational championship on August 26 at the Heckscher softball fields, in Central Park,
about a mile south of the Great Lawn.

Also that day, in the Show championship semifinals, Gypsy will play Blue Man Group and The Producers will play Beauty and the Beast. The Show final is scheduled for September 2, last day of the GOP convention, little more than a
mile south of the Heckscher fields.

The Boy From Oz won the Broadway Cares championship, August 19, defeating I am My Own Wife 11-10 in extra innings. LPR got a photo of a concerned Oz cast member shortly before Oz tied the score, 10-10. League
commish Carlos Martinez, a member of the Oz team, scored the winning run on a sacrifice fly.
