Couple of questions for

and now with
" It's Not Imus in the Morning"

MAY 31, 2007 --

Was interested in the comment, May 23,  from a magazine writer acknowledging that we probably can't fight wars when we focus on our individual losses.

Have noted even pre- Not Imus in the Morning days that you reported daily on U.S. losses in Iraq -- without reference to any progress in the conflict.

Would you have reported this way during World War II?

Factions opposed to our presence in Iraq say, among other things, that we have been engaged, militarily, longer than the time we were in WWII.

(Of course, we were not in WWII at the beginning -- when Germany and the Soviet Union were at peace, with Britain and France at war against Germany and Italy.  From September 1939 to June 1941 -- during the time of the Nazi-Soviet pact, the far left opposed our entry in the war, LPR believes.)

Do you think you can go to war by means of a clock?

That is to say, when the clock runs out -- so do we?

PS -- Thanks Charles for letting us know how you feel about the guests who appeared in "It's Not Imus in the Morning" days -- not speaking with them (Tim Russert) or speaking with them (Mary Matalin} depending how they responded to the anti-Imus firestorm.

PPS -- Could someone ask Gov. Corzine, injured as he was (literally) speeding to the Imus-Rutgers Women meeting:  if it is important to click seat belt, why do we need airbags in cars?
