DECEMBER
19, 2006 --
LPR
was surprised to learn that a spot very much exuding the holiday
spirit in Bryant Park, with its ice-skating rink (up
till January 15, LPR heard) and booths selling a variety of items, seasonal
and otherwise.
LPR got a photo of the ice-skating rink, with the Empire State Building rising
behind it, and the Bryant Park Christmas tree, with the Empire State Building
slightly visible. (This location is also where
Fashion Week is held.)

LPR also got an image
of the Empire State Building glowing in Christmas colors, the exterior
of Radio City Music Hall, a Park Avenue Christmas tree, and a
wreath walker. (Have you ever seen a wreath walker? -- well I did.)

And en route to Bryant
Park, December 12, LPR spotted a woman who was telling
people about the "Holiday Wonders"
show, at the Beacon Theatre, December 19 to 24.

Information
about the "Holiday Wonders" show, at the Beacon
Theatre, December 19 to 24, was being distributed to passers-by.

One image LPR did
not photograph -- police corralling (corralling, not caroling) then herding,
crowds of people on Fifth Avenue corners, with plastic orange mesh, in
the vicinity of Rockefeller Center.
