Could This Be?

OCTOBER 23, 2006 --

Russian President Putin was challenged by The Washington Post, in its lead editorial, October 21, for not having found after two weeks, the murderer of a Russian journalist, sharply critical of his Chechnya policy.

Mr. Putin has also attracted attention for apparently making light of rape charges against the president of Israel.

LPR wonders -- just wonders if, some years ago, Russian President Boris Yeltsin was asked, while he was taking
an English lesson, about his candidate to be the next Russian leader and began his answer by saying "Put in...," -- then immediately fell asleep before completing his response.
