...for standing firm against the heavy-handed partisanship of the CNBC panel of moderators at your October 28th debate. LPR has long wondered, how can the American people expect that Republicans will stand with the people, if Republicans are unwilling to stand up for themselves against leftist zealots in the media.

Republican passivity goes back at least as far as the days in 1995 when House Speaker Newt Gingrich apparently thought that he could get fair treatment from the media. LPR also thanks the current GOP presidential field for realizing, at long last, that the Republican National Committee is very much a part of the problem.

For proof -- just see the editorial in the Times, November 3rd, calling for the RNC to maintain a guiding role in the presidential campaign. Advice from The New York Times cannot possibly be intended to be of help to Republicans.
