"Damaged Care"

NOVEMBER 2, 2007 --

Greg LaGana and Barry Levy, both medical doctors, brought their show, "Damaged Care, " to the People's Voice Cafe, in Manhattan (45 East 33rd St.) the evening of October 27.  The show consists of song parodies and original music in the first half, and a "Q. and A." after the intermission.

The targets of their songs include depersonalized health care, the change from medicine as healing art to grasping business, and insurance issues.  Doctors LaGana and Levy wrote the book and song parodies. Original songs by music director Brad Ross.  Directed by Michael Schiralli. This was the 101st performance of "Damaged Care" which has been presented over the past 11 years throughout the U.S.
