LPR Corrects Disinformation
at The New York Times

July 5, 2022 --

A front page New York Times article, June 26, asserted, "The five sessions the [Jan. 6] panel has produced so far this month resemble a tightly television series." The article goes on to say "Heroes and villains are clearly identified.... The answers to the questions are known before they are asked."

Accordingly, LPR believes that it would have been accurate had the propagandists writing the article had putthis down, instead: "The five sessions the panel has produced so far this month resemble the one-sided denunciation of a political enemy typical of a purge televised in single-party totalitarian state.

Richard L. Hasen isn't only anti-Trump

Mr. Hasen authored a guest essay in The New York Times, June 26, urging a criminal rial for former president Trump. This is not the first time Mr. Hasen has opinionated in the Times. Last year, he wrote a piece accusing the Republicans of undermining democracy. LPR took note of that article in American Thinker:

Republicans make a grave mistake if they think Hasen is just anti-Trump. He apparently has difficulty with anyone who disagrees with his extremist political views.
