Third party sources, quite anti-Israel, have seized on the proportionality as club with which to beat Israel.   Indeed, a report in the anti-Israel New York Times suggested that the issue could lead to charges of war crimes against the Jewish state.

Late in the afternoon of May 23, it occurred to LPR that the media people hollering "disproportion, disproportion" at Israel are the very  people who have no problem being disproportionately hostile in their news coverage of Israel, Donald J. Trump, conservatives and people with caucasoid skin, among their other targets.
