In response to word that there will be no Social Security increase in 2016 -- no increase in a presidential year!? -- LPR recommends that those of us receiving SNAP benefits have their food payments capped at the prices in effect on January 20, 2009, when President Obama first took his oath as our president. LPR makes this proposal having experienced considerable inflation at the food counter these past seven years. If we are to be denied the means to keep up with food prices, then let food prices be brought down to our very limited incomes. Isn't this the, uh, progressive thing to do, Senator Sanders?
