AUGUST 28, 2005 --

LPR was in Winsted, August 22 and saw two games of the Winsted Women's Softball League. Carl's True Value defeated Billy Ray's 9 - 5, and Cornucopia beat MSL Construction 17 - 2. The games were played at Ryan Memorial Field -- under the lights.

Winsted women all-stars …

The women's Winsted championship game will be at Ryan Field, August 31.

(Next year, LPR would like to see a benefit game between women all-stars from the Broadway Show League and the Winsted Women's League.)
