Don't Bother Seeking European Union Backing

June 15, 2014 --

Australia's Prime Minister Tony Abbott, at a joint press conference in Ottawa with Canada's Prime Minister Stephen Harper, June 9, said that efforts at controlling man-made climate change "shouldn't clobber the economy." Prime Minister Harper remarked that "no country" will "deliberately destroy jobs and [economic] growth" by acting on climate change.

(LPR has an idea it can think of one such country.) It was also reported that Prime Minister Abbott is interested in putting together an alliance of center-right governments who will take an alternative approach on the climate change issue. The alliance, thus far, might comprise Australia, Canada, Britain, New Zealand and India. Clearly, any state willing to join such an alliance faces a future threat of sanctions from the Left International.
