One Way to Pardon Mike Flynn

August 22, 2020 --

LPR has no information on the subject, but imagines how delightful it would be for  President Trump to stop in his acceptance address, August 27,and invite Mike Flynn t0 join him at the (virtual) podium, for the purpose of declaring that heis giving Flynn a full and complete pardon for the charges the government and Flynn have tried to get dismissed in the U.S. courts in the District of Columbia.  The president might remark that Flynn has suffered the greatest travesty of justice since the French military framed Captain Albert Dreyfus in the 1890's.

Mr. Trump might also add that Dreyfus was released from prison without a pardon, but the French Supreme Court in 1906 ordered the pardon without further action by the lower court. The president could explain to Flynn and the American people that he is simply doing for Flynn what the French Supreme Court did for Dreyfus: put an end to an injustice.

*The Rejectionists would like declare, mouths filled with rabid foam,, that this is an unconscionable transgression of the rule of law, thereby betraying they have no clue what "the rule of law" means.
