And thus a segue to the LPR G.O.P. Convention Hotel feature, to make it easier for Republican delegates to spot their temporary abodes (and also, LPR now guesses, for UFPJ to spot these G.O.P. hotels, as well).

The Drake, at the northwest corner of Park Avenue and 56th Street, will house the Massachusetts delegation. The Park Lane-- Helmsley Park Lane on the 59th Street side-- between Sixth and Fifth Avenues-- is home to the Louisiana, South Carolina and Virginia delegations. It is probably easier, if driving, to enter on 58th Street. The Rihga Royal (yup, Rihga), north side of 54th Street, between Seventh and Sixth Avenues, houses Nevada's delegates. The Park Central, west side of Seventh Avenue, between 55th and 56th Streets -- Idaho, Kansas, Maryland -- is diagonally across from Carnegie Hall.
