The following comment, quoted by Sarah Arnold at Town Hall, makes it clear that this Democrat congressman is interested in propaganda about the Jan. 6 political prisoners -- not their conditions of pre-trial confinement. This statement is pure propaganda, not a description of the conditions of oppression under these American citizens are being held in detention without trial

"When we saw the inmates, my Republican colleagues rushed to them and treated them like celebrities rather than people who attacked our capitol police and our very democracy."

Besides, congressman, did you ask how long these political prisoners have been kept in custody without trial, in utter disregard of the "speedy trial" mandate in the Sixth Amendment?
