MAY
7, 2006 --
Prices
in Torrington, Connecticut were down a bit, early last week.
Who would have thought the day would come when a price drop in from $3.09.9
to $2.99.9, for regular gas, would be a pleasant surprise?
In New York City, the situation is different and apparently it is worse in
California.
LPR has noticed that some gas stations are now closed, as indicated by the
photo of a down station in New Milford, Connecticut. Another result of the
latest gas price spike?
LPR also wonders if the economic disinhibition reflected by these high gas
prices will be seen as an assault on a
key aspect of American freedom -- the freedom to get into a car and drive.
