MARCH
12, 2006 --
LPR
was on the W. 30's in Manhattan, March 5, and noticed a flea
market at 39th Street and Ninth Avenue.
In one photo, the Empire State Building is to the right and the new New York
Times building due for occupancy in 2007,
can be seen going up -- where else? --
left of center.
LPR also got a photo of nearby hi-rise buildings reflected in a mirror, and
stopped by the Oddities and Eccentricities booth for the photo of costume jewelry.
The owners of this booth have been at the flea market some 27 years. This west
side week-end institution was formerly, LPR understands, on Sixth Avenue in
the west 20's -- but that site, too, is now
under construction.
