How about this, Department (B)

It is probably impossible for Mayor Bloomberg to identify with people to whom $35 is a lot of money. But, for those of us who have about $5 a day for food, a week or two before the next social security check, $35 is an awful lot of moolah.

Thirty-five dollars is the penalty if you run overtime at the parking curb. How about this, Mr. Mayor? How about sharp discount if you get to your car while the parking agent is still there, writing or serving the parking ticket?

Seems to LPR that if driver gets to car while parking agent is there, prima facie case driver was not ignoring rules.

LPR thinks driving public would respond favorably to $10 charge to people who get to the car shortly after the parking violations person.

Mayor -- LPR thinks you should also know that the one subject likely to bring a social gathering alive, through all strata of society, is parking violations.

(After that topic, perhaps Verizon.)

Your lackluster reelection tells LPR you need to get with the people, if your third term is not to be a disaster.
