Just as the Deep State rallied round Biden's presidential candidacy to protect it against questions about his business dealings in Ukraine, the Deep State twisted into an article of impeachment a perfectly reasonable, cordial, phone conversation between Presidents Trump and Zelensky,  to protect Biden from a probe of his business activities in Ukraine, spurred by a Trump administration concerned about corruption in Ukraine involving prominent Democrats.

Mr. Zelensky, LPR believes, was deterred from following up on his phone conversation with Mr. Trump by warnings from Democrat officials, including Sen, Chris Murphy, February 2010, not to cooperate with President Trump on the matter of corruption in Ukraine.  Perhaps the bravery President Zelensky has shown in resisting invasion by Russia has lent him the strength to withstand, henceforth, pressure from ambitious partisans in the U.S.
