NOVEMBER 28, 2007 -- About a year ago, LPR mentioned that filming of "The Insurgents" was underway. LPR attended the November 9 screening of the film at Brooklyn's Cobble Hill movie theater. Directed by Scott Dacko, the movie, about a group of home-grown terrorists, stars John Shea, Henry Simmons, Juliet Marquis, Michael Mosley and Mary Stuart Masterson. Filmed on a tight budget, and on location in New York City. Literate script, evoking, in a way, Conrad's "Secret Agent." Shocking ending to all but the conspiracy minded.
