OCTOBER 10, 2007 --
Taking a walk around the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis
Reservoir in Central Park, October 2, LPR noticed two
mini-vehicles from the NYPD's Central Park precinct
scooting along the former bridle path. (The stable
that was home to the riding horses of Central Park
closed a few months ago.)
How about races of these vehicles on the bridle path?
(LPR got the idea for such races seeing three of these
NYPD mini-vehicles scooting up the roadway of the hill
on 164th Street, in the Bronx, near Yankee Stadium,
this summer. LPR, however, did not have its camera
handy to record that interesting scene.)

And, on the reservoir, why not races of dragon boats,
wind-surfboards and other craft down, or across, this
midpark body of water? |
