First, LPR will not be surprised if the Democrats win in the George runoffs for U.S. Senate the way they won the presidency for Biden: by means of Electiongate, the curious election of Joe Biden by ballot-stuffing.

But Democrat U.S. Senate gains in Georgia will not bring them a majority, for the left's radical agenda, notwithstanding their  expectations.  True, Georgia wins will result in a 50-50 Senate tie, and that would enable Kamala Harris to cast deciding votes on the left's radical agenda.

There is, however, a Democrat fly in this political ointment: Senator Joe Manchin, Democrat of West Virginia.   

President Trump, in the recent election won West Virginia with nearly 70% of the vote, while Biden got less than 30%.  President Trump, consequently, carried West Virginia by more than doubling Biden's total.  

Would Senator Manchin thumb his nose at the overwhelming majority of West Virginian voters by supporting radical moves such as packing the Supreme Court or calling for statehood for the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, and voting for they Green New Deal?

LPR doesn't think so.  This is not to say that the wrath of the left will not come down on Sen. Manchin for voting against key leftist policies-- but in that case, wouldn't he decide to switch parties, with this comment:  "I did not leave the Democrat Party; that party left me"?
