Kasich for President?

August 5, 2015 --

The Wall Street Journal, in its July 22 lead editorial, "The Case for Kasich," told readers that the presidential candidacy of John Kasich, "the Ohio Governor and former nine-term Congressman deserves some notice." Having tried in past election cycles, by email and letter, to convince Mr. Kasich to seek the presidency on a platform faithful to The Federalist Papers, with particular reference to No. 57, LPR is prepared to support the Kasich candidacy for the 2016 presidential election -- provided that Gov. Kasich relies on the counsel set forth in The Federalist Papers on maintaining America's founding legacy -- a legacy the left seems to oppose and the GOP leadership seems to be indifferent to.

LPR will go even further in looking to 2016. LPR would advise Gov. Kasich to pick Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker as his vice president. LPR would also suggest several cabinet appointments for Gov. Kasich to consider: including, John Bolton for secretary of state, Sen. Ted Cruz for attorney general (or the United States Supreme Court), Carly Fiorina for defense secretary, Allen West to head homeland security, and Dr. Ben Carson for health and human services secretary.

LPR would also recommend that Mr. Kasich persuade congressional Republicans to choose new leaders for the next Congress -- leaders who will be faithful to the Constitution and American's founding legacy. LPR has a hunch that a conservative landslide for Kasich would be equaled with a conservative landslide for congressional Republicans. Why? Leftist government proves itself to be wonderful for the top one percent -- you know, the people targeted by ads in the first section of The New York Times -- and pretty awful for everyone else.
When will Republicans wake up and realize that if The New York Times had so much influence, Democrats would still have majorities in House and Senate?
