Independent
film talent gathered at Serena, in the Hotel Chelsea, January
19, for the awards ceremony of last November's New York International
Independent Film and Video Festival.
The program was organized by Renata Lorenc, Briege McGarrity and Kim Schulster,
and hosted by Hillary Flowers, Amber Gristak and Leah Loftin.

The Grand Jury
Prize went to Robin Webb for his "Seeking Fear." Best
Dramatic Feature went to Jose Landivar's "A Stray Cat in Brooklyn." Matteo
Ribaudo's "In the Name of the Father was Best Short Comedy.
Best Thriller honors went to "Owen Gear." Joshua Van
Praag was named Best Director Short Film.

You, Iago." The Audience Award for Best Short Film went to
