Writing Common Sense to Power
D. R. ZUKERMAN, proprietor
LPR At Night

APRIL 24, 2005 --

At Suede:

LPR was at Suede, April 17, for a special appearance by Emily Fitgerald and Lovari. Ms. Fitzgerald is lead vocalist with Keltic Guru, a band she formed. Lovari will be joining this group.

Ms Fitgerald is a cable tv personality and filmmaker. Her film "Hydrogen" -- a thriller about a plan to develop a cheap fuel -- was shown at last November's New York Independent Film Festival.

The cast includes Jimmy Tirado, who was
spotted at Suede for Ms. Fitzgerald's appearance with Lovari. (The New York Independent Film Festival returns, April 28.)

At Twelve:

April 20, LPR was at Twelve -- (aka XII) a Manhattan bar and restaurant, at 206 East 34th Street -- at the invitation of Talent in Motion publisher A. Brooks, for a "Tropical Attire" fashion show --featuring clothes designed by Christopher Hunte.

The evening also marked the debut of a cosmetics line by Sevelin called "The Barbados Connection." The entertainment
began with the apperance of a stiltwalker, which brought smiles to all, including Twelve co-owners Desi Murray and Paul Molloy. Twelve opened last December. This was its first fashion show. Cool idea.
