Poull Brien placed LPR on the press list for the Amstel Light/Spin Magazine May 15 party at the Lounge 1870, below the circular roadway formed by the exit and entrance lanes to the Henry Hudson Parkway.

The lounge is adjacent to the 79th Street Boat Basin Cafe that is beneath the southbound lanes of the Henry Hudson Parkway -- and is dog-friendly.
The hors d'oeuvres were plentiful and included hamburgers, meatballs, cheese squares and smoke salmon. And the complimentary offerings included Amstel Light.
Pete Yorn performed on a stage set up in the the Lounge 1870 area. Basin Cafe is mainly below the southbound lanes of the Henry Hudson Parkway -- and is dog friendly.
LPR caught at least one celebrant of a May 15 birthday, as indicated in an accompanying photo.
