AUGUST
21, 2004 --
LPR is not
sure that you will be able to take a tour bus on 33rd street,
past Madison Square Garden, during Convention days.
Yes, the Empire State Building will
be visible to you as you enter Madison Square Garden for your infomercial.
What will happen to you if you are on a red bus and the skies open up?
Most likely the bus will pull to the side of the road and wait out the
storm. LPR took photos of a red bus on West 86th Street, during a heavy
downpour.
Some tourists chose to stay out in the open; most squeezed-in down below.

The Delacorte
Theater summer season will be over by the time you arrive in
New York, but perhaps you might find a
musical duo like 13 playing near the Delacorte.

This
duo of musicans are calling themselves "13".
They were
photographed entertaining outside Delacorte Theater, now in midst
of Joe's Pub music festival.

The
Open Air Red Tour Bus, heading on 33rd to Eighth (and
presumably back to starting point, 47th and Broadway).

LPR
spotted this tour bus on Central Park West, near
86th Street, as the
skies opened up.
|
|
A
few souls braved the downpour on the open air top
of the bus.
|
|
The
remaining tourists squeezed into the bottom portion
of the bus to wait out the rain.
