JUNE
29, 2007 --
Having
made these three points, LPR notes with great interest the realization
of talk radio conservatives, by way of opposition to the immigration
bill that Republican politicians have joined their Democratic colleagues
in distancing
themselves from the American people.
LPR heard Rush Limbaugh indicate, June 26, that Republican congressmen are
interested in the people only until
election day. June 25.
Also, LPR has no difficulty with the Laura Ingraham's declaration, June 25,
that the left is not progressive and not liberal, particularly as LPR reached
this
conclusion some time ago.

LPR eagerly awaits
recognition by talk show conservatives that the silence of Republicans
concerning oppressive credit card card interest rates and use of parking
fines as alternate means of taxation are indicia of the gap between
people and pols -- a gap that typical of authoritarian regimes.
LPR has just heard (June 26) Sean Hannity declare that he has "never seen
a time when Washington was so out of touch with the American people." Mr.
Hannity can, of course say this not having read LPR the past three years or so.
