Last January, LPR predicted the following:

"President Obama, in June, will announce the resumption of diplomatic relations between the United States and Cuba.

He will name New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio ambassador to Cuba."

LPR apologizes for being six months early with this prediction. Obviously, Mayor de Blasio is the logical choice as our ambassador to communist Cuba.

If the Republican Senate fails to confirm de Blasio, pursuant to the constitutionally-transformative rules established by President Obama, the president will confirm his appointment after he has "given up waiting" for the Senate to act.
