This link to the finale of Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 2, performed by the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuelam conducted by Gustavo Dudamel, at the Royal Albert Hall, BBC Proms, 2011, appeared previously at LPR. But to let New Yorkers know what they have in store for then when Maestro Dudamel takes up artistic and musical director responsibilities at the New York Philharmonic a few years from now, LPR thought to reprise this fantastic performance which might well be equaled, but not likely to be surpassed. Soloists: Miah Persson, in gray gown; Anna Larson in red gown, teary-eyed at conclusion, and National Youth Choir of Great Britain -- and wheren't they all wonderful?
