It seems to LPR that, somehow, U.K. productions of Jerry Herman musicals have a bit more pizzazz than  Broadway treatments of  this recently departed great talent.

Those Tricky Roosians

LPR is waiting for leading Bidenista organs in the media -- wait!  they're all Bidenistas, save a handful -- perhaps citing intelligence sources, to report that the following link points to Trump-connected attempts to assist the Roosians in sowing chaos in the U.S.

A perfect musical from the past for a Broadway Musical Theatre Repertory Company -- the Broadway version of the Metropolitan Opera.

Community Theatre

Here is a link to a full performance by the Rochester (N.Y.) Community Players 1995 production of "1776." For LPR, this production was quite good. LPR believes this wonderful musical should be among those included in the productions of a Broadway Musical Theatre Tepertory Company.

This musical would be perfect for a Broadway Musical Rep Company.  It opened more than 60 years ago, and remains timely.   LPR wouldn't be surprised if John Wilson produced a revival in London.  One of his Proms concerts included "A little Tin Box from "Fiorello."  Music by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick.
