LPR Musings ...

April 5, 2020 --

How Low Can the Media Go?

Chuck  Todd shows the way, asking Democrat front-runner Joe Biden on Meet the Press, March 29, if President Trump has "blood on  his hands" -- concerning coronavirus response. Mr. Biden thought Todd was a "little bit too harsh." As to Mr. Biden being front-runner, that's what the media said about Sen. Bernie Sanders after he won the Nevada caucuses -- before the Biden turnaround in the South Carolina and Super Tuesday primaries.

Was it really helpful …

… for Dr. Anthony Fauci, appearing on CNN, March 29, to say that the coronavirus might kill 100,000 to 200,00 Americans? Based on what "evidence?" Logarithms?

LPR Thanks …

LPR thanks all the food delivery people, workers in food markets, and post office personnel for staying on the job. Without these dedicated people,we would be far worse off,  And LPR also thanks its dear friend and outstanding webmaster for making its posting onn the internet possible, these difficult days.

Recalling April 4, 1968

It is 52 years since the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. - May his memory always to be an inspiration for brotherhood.

LPR is pleased to see ...

... that not even Gov. Cuomo could keep robins from making their annual spring appearance in the Bronx.

No Good Is Going to Come Of It, Dep't?

LPR is not clear what good comes from banner headlines declaring "Grim Projections" of coronavirus deaths, much less stories asserting that this virus is now the country's third leading cause of deaths.

LPR has a hunch such sensationalism is intended to scare people by being misleading, with the additional aim of turning voters against President Trump.
