LPR Photo Observations

OCTOBER 15, 2008 --

The stock market may be down but there is still bounty on Broadway in the upper West Side.

Now can we try working for "common good?"

Gas prices have been dropping since LPR took this photo at a Shell station in Torrington, Ct., a few weeks ago. They are, however, still much too high for the common good. LPR believes the gas price spike, the past year, is partly to blame for the country's disconcerting economic performance, and the anxiety that grips Wall Street. LPR also believes that confidence will be restored if the country rallies under the "common good" (in a free enterprise context) banner.
