LPR Predicts!

April 1, 2014 --

There will be no basic political change in Washington if, next November, the Senate gets a Republican majority and the House of Representatives stays Republican.

LPR expects that with Republican majorities in Senate and House, the GOP leaders will complain that they hold only one-third of the federal government and remain powerless against an active president backed by a supporting media.

Look for Republican leaders in Congress to keep lips buttoned if President Barack H. Obama announces, after the November 2014 elections, that he will use all the authority he can muster to issue presidential directives -- formerly known as executive orders --to make sure undocumented immigrants stay at the head of the line, to keep the climate from changing, to implement income reform, including the right of college athletes to organize, and to change the name of the Washington Redskins to the Washington Rainbow, among other things.
