LPR wonders if
this image of Second Avenue traffic
gladdens the heart of Mayor Bloomberg,
who wants to put an $8 charge on cars entering
Manhattan below 96th Street.
BTW -- LPR heard a report on radio, early last week,
that the New York/ New Jersey Port Authority is
thinking about an express lane for the Lincoln Tunnel
that would carry a $30 surcharge.
It took LPR nearly
an hour to cross the George Washington Bridge, about
forty minutes past midnight, July 22.
Traffic congestion manipulation, anyone? |
