FEBRUARY 18, 2009 --
Poull Brien, known for his "fabulosity," arranged a gathering for a few friends at Greenhouse, February 12.
The day marked the 200th anniversary of the birth of Abraham Lincoln. In Manhattan, though, it also marked the start of another Fashion Week.
The Greenhouse gathering celebrated the first anniversary of "Pinstripes" and "Kicks and Toys" (both online.)
A DJ was on hand and these images indicate that people were conversing, nevertheless. How they managed to do so, LPR has no idea. But the mood clearly was not one of gloom and doom.
Perhaps Poull should be enlisted to arrange DJ parties throughout the country to raise the … uh … spirits of the citizenry. Seems we could use a Secretary of Morale.
