LPR heard that a southern politician recently called Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas "an uncle Tom" and criticized the justice for having a white wife. LPR had checked the guest list at the White House State dinner for the president of France and learned that National Security Adviser Susan Rice was accompanied by Ian Cameron. Ian Cameron is Amb. Rice's husband.

He is white; Ambassador Rice is black.

As it happens, that southern pol reportedly withdrew his complaint about the race of the wife of Justice Thomas, but not his slur of the justice. Perhaps, then, this southern pol is not a racial bigot. For LPR, he remains a political bigot.
