The Unexpected Benefit
of a Library Card

January 11, 2010 --

It was a snowy evening in New York City, December 19 (for LPR, that was a Divine act of climate control to advise the climate-changing clamorists just Who Is In Charge) and LPR lost his keys.

A New York Public Library tag was attached to the key ring. Eight days later (after rain washed the snow away) LPR inquired about the lost keys at the Spuyten Duyvil NYPL branch.

Sure enough, the key ring with NYPL tag been found by a kind person and brought to the branch.

(I was not aware that the Spuyten Duyvil branch had aready e-mailed that the keys were found and in its custody.
