Memo to Rush Limbaugh,
Apparent Populistphobe

JANUARY 11, 2008 --

LPR, last week, heard a promo for your program that had you warning listeners a populist is a politician who tells people what he thinks they want to hear. Wrong, Rush. A politician who panders to people for purpose of gaining power is a demagogue. See Hamilton, Federalist Paper No. 1.

Sorry to see you have fallen for the mainstream media's abhorrence of populism, which is to be explained, LPR believes, by the media's preference for  neo-Aristocratic rule, in the manner of today's "liberals."

Yup, Rush, our  "liberals" are not socialists, more like neo-Aristocrats, as LPR sees them -- seeking power and wealth for themselves the better to tell the rest of us how to be "happy" (miserable, actually).
